Animal encroachment

Increasing encroachment by large and small animals such as elephants and monkeys in search of food due to deforestation and climate change has become a major problem. An experimental project with the WWF to protect a village using solar-powered fencing was a success but expensive. We are supporting villagers with fencing material that can help deter most wild animals.
